The tongue may be a small part of the body, but the words we speak have eternal implications. The Bible clearly shows us that the words we speak invite either blessing or cursing into our lives. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. (Proverbs 18:21).
As Christians, our words should consistently honour the Lord and agree with His Word. If you desire to change the direction of your life, start confessing God’s Word over your situation and see the goodness of God manifest in your life. “Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles”. (Proverbs 21:23). “And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long”. (Proverbs 35:28).
